The actor Sir Patrick Stewart says religious opposition to assisted suicide is "selfish".
Sir Patrick, famous for roles from Shakespeare to Star Trek, is campaigning for a change in the law to legalise assisted suicide for patients who are terminally ill so that they can be released from "a world of pain and misery". more
