We need much more of this – arguments against assisted suicide and euthanasia from a secular perspective.

Most debates about "assisted dying" – the practice formerly known as euthanasia – tend to pit religious folk against atheists and let them shout at each other for half an hour. So credit is due to Emma Barnett, the Telegraph’s Digital Media Editor, who for her online radio show The Interrogator brought together two humanists to argue about the rights and wrongs of the right to die: Raymond Tallis, the philosopher and author who is in favour of the legalisation of assisted dying, and yours truly, who is against it. more
