MP and doctor Dan Poulter's expresses fears over right to die
An MP who still works as a doctor is to use a Parliamentary debate to oppose any moves towards so-called "right to die" legislation, saying his experience has turned him against assisted suicide.
Dr Dan Poulter will warn that current prosecution guidelines on assisted dying must not be passed into law as he believes they have the potential to lead to patients being killed simply to benefit their relatives - a risk he has seen on the wards. more
