Beware The Pro-Death Poster People


Let me be clear: Chronic and terminal illness is hardly easy. However, beware the poster-people who use their medical disability to foster death. It’s not on.

SEATTLE – He was Washington's most popular governor. Today, he's a much different Booth Gardner, ravaged for almost 20 years by Parkinson's disease.
The former governor is no longer able to read. He spends most of his time in a wheelchair and has a full time caregiver at his Tacoma condominium.
His devoted daughter, Gail Gant, manages his care and affairs. He looks to her to help him find the words that won't come. more
