The current Canadian court case seeking to legalize assisted suicide continues. Here's the judge who was involved in the ground-zero case 18 years ago, the case of Sue Rodriguez.

Major can still see the silent ranks of disabled people, their wheelchairs ringing the Supreme Court of Canada as a courtroom full of lawyers debated the assisted suicide law in 1993.
