Why Legalizing Assisted Suicide In Massachusetts Is A Bad idea

In Massachusetts, the latest state to face the threat of legalization of physician assisted suicide, the group that promotes doctor prescribed suicide has cleared one hurdle.  “Dignity 2012,” comprised of the national organizations Compassion & Choices and the Death With Dignity Center, has submitted more than the necessary signatures to place the measure on the ballot in the 2012 general election.  This group will face opposition from the Massachusetts Alliance Against Doctor-Prescribed Suicide, a group made up of disability rights groups and other state-based advocacy groups. more
