While the storm about euthanasia rages in a Canadian courtroom and the Royal Society of Canada has placed itself firmly in the pro-death camp, it's heartening to see this Canadian parliamentary report calling for suicide prevention, better palliative care, and elder abuse prevention. Of course, it's getting almost no traction in the media.
