Scot MP Margo MacDonald Tries Again To Make Assisted Suicide Legit


Here’s more on Scottish MP Margo MacDonald’s latest attempt to get the Scottish Parliament to consider legalizing assisted suicide.
MSP sets out new case for assisted suicide
Independent MSP Margo Macdonald unveiled the revised consultation document at the Scottish Parliament yesterday, a year after MSPs overwhelmingly rejected her previous Bill on the issue, in a vote of 85 to 16.
However, the veteran politician – who suffers from Parkinson's disease – said she had "learned lessons" from her previous attempt and is proposing a "clearer, more straight-forward process".
She said: "My supporters and I have learned lessons from the previous Bill, not least from listening to the views and experiences of people on both sides of the issues. more
